Will Wright is the guy who led the game development of the original Sims and SimCity.

Wright is creating a game that will use cryptocurrency and NFTs - VoxVerse.

VoxVerse has received $25 million in funding so far.

It's a metaverse game that allows players to buy in-game land and items on the blockchain..

While Wright doesn't want to be "in the business of selling NFTs", those land and item assets are technically what an NFT is.

Though, the project is being made with Gala Games, who makes games with NFTs.
